 • It’s going to be all about the kids when Recess Monkey takes the stage today at the Kent Summer Concerts at the Kent Town Square Plaza, Second Avenue North and West Harrison Street. The noon concert is free. 253-856-5050, kentarts.com.

 • Billed as the blue-eyed soul trio, The BGP will perform as part of the Tunes @ Tapps summer concert series tonight at 6:30. Head out to Allan Yorke Park, 7203 W. Tapps Highway E., Bonney Lake for the free concert. 253-862-8602.

 • Rock out at the Global Warming Tour: Aerosmith & Cheap Trick concert at 7:30 tonight at the Tacoma Dome, 2727 E. D St., Tacoma. If you’re not going to the concert you might want to avoid the Tacoma Dome area before and after the concert.
