 • Known for her mixture of confessional lyrics, pop-based folk-rock, and raspy, smoky vocals, Melissa Etheridge has been performing for more than 20 years and has two Grammy Awards and one Academy Award along with numerous other awards and nominations. She will be performing in a 6 p.m. concert at the Woodland Park Zoo, 750 N. 50th St., Seattle. Tickets are $39.50 and available at zoo.org/zootunes.

 • Enjoy the contemporary Christian music of singer/songwriter Jeff Kranich from Portland when he plays outdoors at the Christ the Servant Lutheran, 4300 Carpenter Road S.E. in Lacey. The free concert is 6-8 p.m
