Tacoma’s new Geiger Montessori School will be open for new-student registration from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Aug. 20-23. The school has been rebuilt on its old site but has a new address: 7401 S. Eighth St.

While the office will be open, the rest of the site will be under construction and off-limits until school opens Sept. 5.

Geiger has a waiting list for students in kindergarten through third grade, and preschool registration is closed. Parents must bring a utility bill as proof of residency. Families who live in the Geiger attendance area receive first priority for admission.
