The City of Tacoma announced Monday a new economic development director and a new interim finance director.
Ricardo Noguera, most recently of Visalia, Calif., has been hired to run the city’s community and economic development department. For the past five years in Visalia, Noguera has led the city’s affordable housing, economic development and code enforcement initiatives, according to a city news release. He also has worked for the City of North Miami, Fla.
