Tacoma police said Wednesday they are looking for Jerry Heilman, 49, who left his Tacoma home early Aug. 1 and has not contacted anyone since.
Heilman is an avid hunter and fisherman who knows areas around Silver Lake, Mount Rainier and Mount St. Helens, police said.
He bought gas at Eighth Avenue East and Mountain Highway at 1:18 a.m. Aug. 1, police said.
Heilman is 6 feet, 1 inch and 202 pounds. He was last seen wearing a “Massage Envy” T-shirt and khaki pants.
