A man who was fatally shot by law enforcement officers Wednesday in Littlerock has been identified as David W. Mack, 70, according to the Thurston County Coroner’s Office.
Mack was shot and killed after he first shot at officers from his backyard on Maytown Road Southwest, according to the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office.
Autopsy results revealed Mack died of a single gunshot wound to the abdomen. Thurston County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the area of Littlerock and Maytown roads at 11:45 am. Wednesday on a report of a man with a rifle blocking traffic. The man had reportedly fired a shot at a passing car.
