Firefighters were called at 1:48 p.m. Thursday to a brush fire on a hill behind the Muckleshoot Bingo Hall at 2117 Auburn Way South.

Bingo Hall employees used fire extinguishers to help put out the fire at the top of the hill, as the first engine on the scene worked from the bottom, according to the Valley Regional Fire Authority. A second engine arrived shortly afterward.

The blaze burned about 1.5 acres. Its cause is not yet known.

No one was injured and no buildings were damaged in the fire.
