A Kent teenager will be tried as an adult for charges of rape and kidnapping, a judge ruled Monday.

Chrisean Cressel, 16, was charged with two counts of rape in the first degree and two counts of kidnapping in the first degree. Charges were re-filed after the court ordered an adult prosecution for Cressel, Dan Donohoe with the King County Prosecutor’s Office said.

Cressel is accused of raping two women in Kent last October, ages 17 and 19.

His bail was set at $1 million, and his arraignment is scheduled for Aug. 30.
