The Tennessee Titans released veteran defensive tackle Shaun Smith on Wednesday.

Smith played in 15 games (six starts) with the Titans in 2011, recording 25 tackles and one sack.

In 94 career games with the Titans, Kansas City Chiefs, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns and New Orleans Saints, Smith has 233 tackles and four sacks.
