The Buffalo Bills acquired quarterback Tarvaris Jackson from the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for an undisclosed draft choice on Monday.
The move comes on the same day that the Bills released quarterback Vince Young.
Jackson played in 15 games (14 starts) for Seattle in 2011 and set career- highs in attempts (450), completions (271), passing yards (3,091) and passing touchdowns (14).
The 29-year-old Jackson spent his first five seasons in the league with the Minnesota Vikings, who made him a second-round pick in the 2006 draft.
In 51 career games, Jackson has thrown for 7,075 yards, 38 touchdowns and 35 interceptions.
