Boeing projects high demand for aerospace workers in Asia

The growth of airline transportation in Asia and the Pacific will create a demand for hundreds of thousands of new airline pilots and maintenance personnel over the next two decades, a Boeing forecast says.

The growth of airline transportation in Asia and the Pacific will create a demand for hundreds of thousands of new airline pilots and maintenance personnel over the next two decades, a Boeing forecast says.

Boeing’s 2012 Pilot and Technician Outlook, predicts the region will need 185,600 additional pilots and 243,500 new aerospace technicians between now and 2030.
