Swenson Say Faget of Tacoma has announced new hires to the firm.
Ryan Anderson joins the firm as a project manager. He has six years’ experience in mixed-use, commercial and residential structural engineering. He is working on a three-building, mixed-use project in the University District and a 300,000-square-foot multi-family housing project in Columbia City. Anderson is a graduate of Gonzaga University and previously worked for LDC Engineering and Kosnik Engineering.
Jocelyn Moody has been hired as a staff engineer. She has three years of engineering and drafting experience and is working on several single-family residences. Previously, Moody worked for Gravitec Systems and DH Briant & Associates Architects, and is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Maine.
The new marketing manager with the firm is Heidi Maki. She has 22 years of experience, including marketing for A/E/C service industries in the area. Maki will manage the proposal process and carry out all other marketing tasks. She is a graduate of Spokane Falls Community College and Washington State University.
AWARDS/RECOGNITION
The Rotary Club of Tacoma No. 8 has announced new officers for 2012-2013. They are: Jennifer Durham, HOST - Party & Event Planning, president; Don Hansen, Cascade Park Vista, president-elect; Brien Elvins, Tacoma Investment Group, immediate past president; Kathi Willis, Group Health Foundation, secretary; Cynthia Darland, treasurer, and Beverly Vincent, executive director.
