The Puyallup School Board Monday night unanimously approved a resolution sending the proposal to voters.

The state Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction recently released its list of statewide school performance in low-income schools, as required by the federal government. The list covers schools that receive federal Title I funding, which goes to high-poverty schools.
The Puyallup School District is hosting a public forum for parents, students and community members to learn about the district’s Native American education program. It will be from 5:30-7 p.m. May 2 at Firgrove Elementary School, 13918 Meridian S., Puyallup.
The Puyallup School District is accepting nominations for the annual Volunteer of the Year award program.
