 • Bring lawn chairs, blankets and a picnic for the final concert of the free Summer Concerts on the Lawn series. Tonight features A Touch of Class playing at 6:30 at Franke Tobey Jones community, 5340 N. Bristol St., Tacoma.

 • Tickle your funny bone at Nate Jackson’s Super Funny Comedy Show at 8:30 tonight. It’s at Varsity Grill, 1114 Broadway, Tacoma. Tickets are $10-$15, superfunnycomedyshow.com.

    Youth have the chance to compete Saturday in the Washington State Youth Hunter Education Challenge.

  • Assumption Catholic School in Bellingham seeks alumni, staff for centennial

    Assumption Catholic School in Bellingham will mark its centennial with monthly events starting in September and going to June 2014.

    Organizers hope that alumni, former staff and other friends of the school will contact Assumption so they can learn about the upcoming events. To do that, people should call Phoebe Vanderboom at the school, 360-733-6133, or email Veena Singh at veenasingh87@gmail.com.

    Organizers hope to gather from each person their name, address, phone number, email address, the years they attended Assumption, and the year they graduated.
