University Place police seek the public’s help finding two suspects in the robbery of the Country Prime Foods office Aug. 17.

Two masked men entered the office about 9:30 p.m. on 70th Avenue Court West and demanded cash, police said. One man threw an employee to the ground and held a semi-automatic gun to his head as the other ransacked the office, police said.

The two allegedly took the employee’s wallet and ran out.

The suspect with the gun is described as in his late 20s. He is about 5 feet, 9 inches and roughly 250 pounds, police said. The other is described as in his late 20s, armed with a large kitchen knife. He is about 5 feet, 7 inches and 150 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers at 253-591-5959. Tips are anonymous, and callers can receive up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest and charges filed.
