Work is continuing on the rehabilitation project that affects about 10 miles of the 19 mile road that connects the east and west ends of Mount Rainier National Park.

CUSTER - Drivers should expect delays Tuesday, May 7, through Thursday, May 9, on Bay Road, just west of Bruce Road, as crews finish paving work.
Lane closures start at 8 a.m. all three days. Flaggers will direct traffic.
Drivers are advised to take alternate routes Monday, May 13, through Friday, May 17, when crews will lay asphalt on four Whatcom County roads in preparation for chip sealing.
Crews will work from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. those days on Van Dyk Road, Huisman Road, Wiser Lake Road and Old Guide Road, all south of Lynden. Long delays are expected around work areas.
