Mike Wilson and Casper Wells hit back-to-back home runs to highlight a five-run sixth inning and lead the Tacoma Rainiers to an 8-4 victory over Las Vegas on Thursday in Nevada.

The big inning made a winner of Erasmo Ramirez (6-3), who allowed five hits and two runs with three strikeouts and two walks in five innings.

Both of the home runs came against Jim Hoey, who allowed five earned runs on four hits and two walks in one inning.

Tacoma leadoff hitter Darren Ford and Nick Franklin each had three hits for the Rainiers.

Wilson’s homer, which staked Tacoma to a 4-2 lead, was his 12th of the season. Wells hit his second Pacific Coast League homer of the season.
