Lakewood police today identified two officers involved in the fatal shooting of a suspected car thief who the department says fired at police in Tacoma Dec. 9.
Officers responded about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday to a business in the 3500 block of McKinley Avenue, after a caller reported a patron had a gun and was causing problems, Tacoma police spokeswoman Loretta Cool said.
