The Jacksonville Jaguars trimmed their roster to 53 players on Sunday, reaching the NFL's mandatory deadline.
The Jaguars parted ways with nine veteran players, including cornerbacks Trumaine McBride and Leigh Torrence, safety Courtney Greene, defensive tackle Corvey Irvin, defensive back Rod Isaac, running back Richard Murphy quarterback Jordan Palmer, offensive tackle William Robinson and wide receiver Demetrius Williams.
Jacksonville also waived offensive linemen Daniel Baldridge, Lee Barbiasz and D.J. Hall, tight end Colin Cloherty, defensive ends Odrick Ray, Kendrick Adams and Ryan Davis, fullback Will Ta'ufo'ou, wide receiver Mike Brown, cornerback Antonio Dennard and linebackers Joshua Jones and J.K. Schaffer.
The club also placed guard Will Rackley on injured reserve to get down to the 53-man limit.
