Gifford Pinchot and Mount Hood National Forest personnel are reminding campers to be extra responsible with campfires this Labor Day weekend.

Individuals who start forest fires, either intentionally or on accident, could be billed for the suppression costs, according to a Gifford Pinchot news release. Find campfire safety information at www.smokeybear.com/campfire-safety.asp.
