 • It’s your chance to take your gardening to the next level. The WSU Pierce County Master Gardener Program is accepting applications now through the end of September. The program is $220, contact WSU Pierce County Extension, 3602 Pacific Ave., Tacoma. 253-798-3264, pierce.wsu.edu/mg.

 • Instead of cursing those darn blackberry bushes, celebrate them at the Bremerton Blackberry Festival as it revels in all aspects of the blackberry. There will be a children’s entertainment stage, vendors, chalk art applications, blackberry wine and beer garden, car show and more. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. today. Learn more at blackberryfestival.org/festival-info.

 • For fitness lovers, here’s a challenger. Try the Stand Up Paddle Yoga classes at 6 p.m. Mondays. They are held at Ward Lake Park, 700 W. Bay Drive N.W., Olympia. For details, call 360-584-0582, westbaypaddleboards.com.
