Fife man, 23, dies in Seattle freeway crash

A 23-year-old man from Fife died after he was thrown from his motorcycle Monday in Seattle, according to the Washington State Patrol.

A 23-year-old man from Fife died after he was thrown from his motorcycle Monday in Seattle, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Clinton Siegmann was driving just after 11 p.m. on the ramp from Mercer Street to southbound Interstate 5 when he lost control of the vehicle. Both he and his 24-year-old female passenger were ejected, the State Patrol said. Both were wearing helmets, troopers said.

The woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center for her injuries.

The cause of the crash was unknown, according to the State Patrol.
