Buffalo Bills owner Ralph Wilson has returned home after a stay in a Michigan hospital.

The team's website said Wilson was back home Tuesday night.

According to the Buffalo News, the 93-year-old Wilson was admitted to a Detroit-area hospital last week because of what was believed to be an infection. The paper said Wilson lives in a Detroit suburb.

Wilson has owned the Bills since they were a charter member of the American Football League in 1960. The team opens its 2012 season on Sunday in New Jersey against the New York Jets.
