The Puyallup Fair’s annual Western Rodeo Parade and Cattle Drive will take off at 10 a.m. Friday and wind through downtown.
Pro Rodeo cowboys will herd 60 steers along the parade route. The lineup also is set to include junior and senior high school marching bands, Joint Base Lewis-McChord color guards, equestrian drill teams and draft horse hitches.

"The Magic of Music" is the theme of this year's Daffodil Parade, which kicks off at 10:15 a.m. Saturday in Tacoma and ends its four-town tour at 5 p.m. in Orting. It will contain more than 150 entries, including its trademark daffodil-covered floats.
Rain (likely) or shine (less so), white-glove-clad princesses and brilliant yellow daffodils will adorn floats Saturday as the Daffodil Festival’s Grand Floral Parade weaves through four Pierce County cities.
