 • Try your hand, or perhaps your feet, at good old-fashioned square dancing. There will be a free introduction to the dance style at 7 tonight at Lac-A-Do Hall, 1721 46th Ave. N.E., Olympia.

 • Get involved and just learn about growing local at the “Reel Food” – Films on Food Justice series. Bring a blanket, pillow and your neighbors down to the Gallucci Learning Garden on South 14th and G in Tacoma for a film that will surely feed your brain. It’s at 7:30 p.m. and it’s free. growlocaltacomapierce.com.

 • Tickle your funny bone tonight with Joey Medina. He will be performing stand-up sets at 8 tonight, 8 and 10:30 tomorrow night and Saturday at the Tacoma Comedy Club, 933 Market St., Tacoma. Tickets are $10-$15. 253-282-7203, tacomacomedyclub.com
