Need some back-to-school rejuvenation? Want to explore a new way to get fit? Source Yoga in Tacoma’s North End is celebrating its seventh year with its annual free open house Saturday with free classes, specials and a raffle.
Source Yoga offers a variety of styles and levels of yoga, mostly based on a flow or vinyasa-style practice. Tucked into the small row of businesses near the North 21st Street bridge, the buttery-yellow studio is small but community-focused. Each year, owners Melissa Paz and Erin Joosse have a free open house, which is a great way to explore what the studio has to offer.
Here’s the schedule for the day:
7 a.m. mixed levels; 9 a.m. basic flow; 10: 45 a.m. intermediate flow; 12:15 p.m. introduction to yoga; 1:45 p.m. Refine and Align; 3:15 p.m. Relax and Restore; 5 p.m. Kirtan (singing) with guest tabla player. All classes are 75 minutes long.
The studio is also offering discounts on membership and their introduction series, retail discounts and a free raffle to win a five-class card.
Source Yoga is at 2712 N. 21st St., Suite A, Tacoma.
