San Francisco 49ers running back Brandon Jacobs and wide receiver Ted Ginn are both listed as questionable for Sunday's regular-season opener against the Green Bay Packers.

Jacobs was carried off the field with a left knee injury during a preseason game with the Houston Texans, but an MRI exam revealed no structural damage.

The bruising back did not practice this week, nor did Ginn, who has been battling an ankle injury.

The 30-year-old Jacobs is in his first season with the 49ers after spending seven years with the New York Giants. He totaled 571 rushing yards and seven touchdowns last year and ran for 37 yards on nine carries in the Giants' Super Bowl win over the Patriots.

Ginn caught just 19 passes for 220 yards in 14 games with San Francisco last season, but did have two special teams touchdowns.
