New England Patriots running back Shane Vereen will not play in Sunday's season opener against the Tennessee Titans with a foot injury, while offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer is questionable with a back ailment.

Vereen is the only Patriots player to be ruled out of the contest, but cornerbacks Alfonzo Dennard (hamstring) and Sterling Moore (knee), tight end Daniel Fells (shin) and guard Nick McDonald (shoulder) are also listed as questionable.

Safety Patrick Chung is the lone player that is probable with a shoulder injury.
