The Chicago Bears have signed offensive tackle Jonathan Scott and added defensive tackle Nate Collins to the active roster.
Scott has started 28 of the 58 games he has played for Detroit, Buffalo and Pittsburgh. He spent the past two seasons with the Steelers, and was in camp with the Lions this summer.
Collins was added to the roster after serving a one-game suspension for violating the league's substance-abuse policy. He signed with the Bears in May after playing 13 games over the past two seasons with Jacksonville.
The Bears also waived punter Ryan Quigley, while adding tight end Dedrick Epps to the practice squad and releasing offensive tackle Cory Brandon from the practice squad.
