The Dallas Cowboys signed defensive lineman Sean Lissemore to a three-year contract extension on Thursday.

The pact will keep him with the team through the 2016 season.

Dallas selected Lissemore in the seventh round of the 2010 draft and he has appeared in 19 career games for the club, collecting 33 tackles and 2 1/2 sacks.

After missing all but two games of his rookie year with an ankle injury, the 25-year-old played in all 16 games last season, amassing 28 tackles and two sacks.

He had two tackles in Dallas' 24-17 season-opening victory over the New York Giants.
