Members of the Tacoma Mountaineers will give a presentation Sept. 21 on kayak and climbing trips they took this summer.
The evening begins at 7 p.m. with an orientation show of the programs and courses offered by the Tacoma Mountaineers.
New members, prospects and friends can learn about programs including climbing and scrambling, sea kayaking, skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, social and family activities, first aid, sailing, navigation and avalanche training.
At 8 p.m., the 2012 intermediate climbing class and members of the kayaking community will share a photo account of some of their best adventures of the summer.
The event will be in the Mountaineers new Tacoma Program Center, 2302 N. 30th St., Tacoma.
Doors will open early at 6:30 p.m. to allow visitors a chance to tour the new facility.
