San Diego Chargers running back Ryan Mathews and tight end Antonio Gates are both questionable for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans.
Mathews sustained a broken clavicle in the opening quarter of San Diego's first preseason game against the Green Bay Packers. He was limited in practice over the past two days after missing the team's season-opening victory over the Oakland Raiders.
Gates missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday with a rib injury, but returned Friday on a limited basis. The eight-time Pro Bowler caught four passes for 43 yards against the Raiders on Monday.
Offensive tackle Jared Gaither (back) and cornerback Shareece Wright (foot) both missed practice all week and have been ruled out for Sunday.
Cornerback Quentin Jammer (thumb), defensive tackle Antonio Garay (foot) and wide receiver Richard Goodman (concussion) all practiced fully on Friday and are listed as probable.
