3 injured in rollover crash in Tahuya State Forest near Belfair

The Washington State Patrol is investigating a rollover crash that injured three people Saturday in the Tahuya State Forest, about six miles northwest of Belfair.

The Washington State Patrol is investigating a rollover crash that injured three people Saturday in the Tahuya State Forest, about six miles northwest of Belfair.

According to a report from the patrol: A 16-year-old driver from Umatilla, Ore., attempted to negotiate a curve in the road at Goat Ranch Road and Elfendahl Pass Road when he lost control of the tan 1985 Toyota SR5 and rolled it.

The driver, along with a 22-year-old passenger of Hermiston, Ore. , and a 21-year-old passenger of Bremerton were transported to Harrison Hospital in Bremerton.

The crash occurred sometime before 7:30 p.m. Its cause is under investigation.
