Crews will close eastbound state Route 16 at night starting today through Oct. 4 as they set girders for a new bridge from southbound Interstate 5 to South 38th Street as part of the I-5/SR 16 Eastbound Nalley Valley project.
The eastbound highway will close at 11 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays at Union Avenue and will reopen at 4 a.m., according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
It will close at 12:30 a.m. Saturdays and will reopen at 5:30 a.m.
The ramp from Union Avenue to eastbound SR 16 also will be closed. It will shut down at 9 p.m. and reopen at 5:30 a.m. Mondays through Thursdays. It will close at 11 p.m. Fridays and reopen at 7 a.m. Saturdays.
