Rollover crash near Belfair lands 3 in hospital

The Washington State Patrol was investigating a rollover crash that injured three people Saturday in Tahuya State Forest northwest of Belfair.

The Washington State Patrol was investigating a rollover crash that injured three people Saturday in Tahuya State Forest northwest of Belfair.

According to the State Patrol: A 16-year-old driver from Umatilla, Ore., attempted to negotiate a curve near the intersection of Goat Ranch and Elfendahl Pass roads when he lost control of his 1985 Toyota pickup and rolled it.

The driver and two passengers – a 22-year-old from Hermiston, Ore., and a 21-year-old from Bremerton – were transported to Harrison Hospital in Bremerton.

The crash occurred sometime before 7:30 p.m. The cause was under investigation.
