TUESDAY’S HIGHLIGHTS

Nicole Pittelkau had 22 kills, and Kori Tucker registered a 15-for-15 serving effort as Timberline won with a surprisingly easy three-game sweep (25-12, 25-22, 25-16) of host Wilson in Narrows 3A action.

Stadium’s Felicity Cann, the defending Class 4A girls 100-yard freestyle champion, won two events (200, 500 free) and helped the Tigers to a relay win as Stadium upended Federal Way, 116-66, in a non-league dual meet in Tacoma. Federal Way’s Kenna Ramey won the 50 free in 24.80 seconds.

Vinnie Murphy and Chase Carlson were co-medalists with 2-under-par 34s, leading defending SPSL South champion Puyallup past Rogers, 105-57, at High Cedars Golf Course in Orting.

Bonney Lake’s Brian Grob and Mitch Allen won the decisive match in three sets – 6-4, 6-7, 6-2 – at No. 2 doubles, and the Panthers edged Decatur, 3-2, in an SPSL boys tennis match in Bonney Lake.
