The Jacksonville Jaguars signed tight end Maurice Stovall on Wednesday.

Stovall moved to tight end after being chosen as a wide receiver in the third round of the 2006 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He has caught 52 passes for 668 yards and three touchdowns over his six-year career.

The Notre Dame product spent his first five seasons with Tampa Bay before joining the Detroit Lions in 2011.

In addition, Jacksonville released tight end Stephen Spach.
