New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan said cornerback Darrelle Revis has been cleared for contact after missing a game with a concussion and could be ready to play Sunday against Miami.

Revis sat out last week's loss to Pittsburgh after suffering a mild concussion in the season opener against Buffalo when he was kicked in the head by teammate Bart Scott.

Ryan said Wednesday that Revis had not yet been cleared for contact, but that changed on Thursday, although the coach wouldn't say for sure if the All-Pro corner would suit up in Miami.

"I could say that I expect him to play, but again, I am going to lean on the doctors and the trainers," Ryan stated Thursday. "He's cleared for contact."

Revis had an interception in the season-opening win over Buffalo. He was ready to practice fully on Thursday.

Ryan also said tight end Dustin Keller would be a limited participant in Thursday's practice. Keller sat out last week against Pittsburgh with a hamstring injury and did not practice Wednesday.
