The Peninsula School District Board of Directors received President Jill Uddenberg’s resignation, effective Sept. 20.

Ms. Uddenberg stated in her resignation letter:

“It is with great sadness that I submit my resignation as a Peninsula School District Board Director. The reason for my resignation is due solely to a short-term relocation out of state. While I will be out of the state for one year, I expect to return for the 2013-2014 school year and will be actively involved with the Peninsula School District. I have enjoyed my seven years on the Board of Directors and know that the district is in a better place today than it was when I started. I also know that the district is in capable hands with the existing directors and leadership throughout the district. This is a great school district and I am proud to have served.”
