Special events will take place at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., including a snack of fresh oysters for the otters. The zoo’s sea otters also will receive frozen treat otter pops and giant ice treat toys to play with.
During the event, visitors also can meet Homer, one of the zoo’s female sea otters. Homer is one of two remaining Exxon Valdez survivors in a U.S. zoo.
