Federal Way police arrested three people Friday in connection with a string of gas station robberies in South King County last week.

The suspects are from Seattle and Renton and are between 24 and 31 years old. They are expected to be charged next week.

Detectives reviewed surveillance footage from the holdups, which took place in Kent, Federal Way and Renton. After releasing the images to the media, someone provided a tip to police, and detectives conducted surveillance at a South Seattle home Friday morning.

A man and woman were arrested at the home. A second man later was arrested as he left a Renton home.

The owner of the getaway car “confirmed a connection between the vehicle, the suspects and the robberies,” police spokeswoman Cathy Schrock said.
