The Gig Harbor Fly Shop will hold its ninth film event with a showing of “Low & Clear” on Oct. 3.
“Low and Clear” is a 70-minute feature film that looks at the friendship of two men – with vastly different approaches to fishing – that reaches its breaking point on a fly-fishing trip in British Columbia.
In addition, the 30-minute documentary film “River as Spirit: Rebirth of the Elwha” will be shown.
The film will be show at 7 p.m. at the Gig Harbor Uptown Galaxy Theater, 4649 Point Fosdick Drive NW, Gig Harbor.
In addition to the movies, there will be a raffle for fishing equipment.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Wild Steelhead Coalition, an advocacy group working to increase the return of wild steelhead to waters in the Pacific Northwest.
Tickets, at $10, are now on sale at the Gig Harbor Fly Shop, 3115 Harborview Drive, Gig Harbor. For more information, call 253-851-3474.
