This photo, “The Scenic Drive,” was shot by Tacoma resident Joe Becker and is part of the Tacoma Mountaineers photo exhibit now on display. Becker shot the image just south of the campground at Fruita, in Capital Reef National Park, Utah. The rays of light hit “The Reef” when the sun broke through storm clouds west of the park shortly before sunset. Becker took the photo last Oct. 1 while on a road trip through Utah and New Mexico.
