Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles, Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Michael Johnson and Tennessee Titans return specialist Darius Reynaud have been selected as the AFC's top players for Week 3 of the NFL season.
Charles earned the offensive award for the second time in his career after rushing for 233 yards -- 196 after halftime -- on 33 carries, including a 91- yard touchdown, in Kansas City's 27-24 overtime win over New Orleans. He added 55 yards on six receptions.
Johnson recorded seven tackles and a career-high three sacks in the Bengals' 38-31 victory at Washington. He is the first Cincinnati lineman to be chosen for the defensive honor since 2009.
Reynaud returned four kickoffs in the Titans' 44-41 overtime victory over Detroit, totaling 174 yards. In the fourth quarter, he scored his first career touchdown on a 105-yard return, the longest play in franchise history. He also fielded a punt in the first quarter and lateraled it across the field to Tommie Campbell, who took it 65 yards for a touchdown.
