The New York Giants announced Friday that safety Kenny Phillips and defensive tackle Rocky Bernard will not play in Sunday's contest against the Cleveland Browns.
Phillips suffered an injury to his knee in the first quarter of last week's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and Bernard has been dealing with a quadriceps issue. Wide receiver Ramses Barden (concussion) and cornerback Jayron Hosley (hamstring) have also been declared out for Sunday.
All four players were unable to practice on Friday.
In addition, the Giants listed offensive tackle David Diehl (knee) and linebacker Keith Rivers (hamstring) as doubtful. Both players were limited in Friday's practice session.
Linbacker Michael Boley (hip), safety Antrel Rolle (knee), guard Chris Snee (hip) and cornerback Corey Webster (hand/hamstring) are all questionable after also being limited on Friday, while center David Baas (hand) and cornerback Michael Coe (hamstring) were full participants and are listed as probable.
