The Indianapolis Colts will be without running back Donald Brown for the next 2-3 weeks, according to interim coach Bruce Arians.
Brown underwent surgery on Tuesday to repair torn cartilage in his knee, however the recovery time isn't expected to be significant. Brown injured his knee when scoring on a two-point conversion late in last week's 30-27 win over the Green Bay Packers.
The four-year veteran out of Connecticut has rushed for 239 yards and a touchdown on 60 carries in four games for the Colts this season.
Vick Ballard will get the start on Sunday against the Jets.
