The Carolina Panthers have placed center Ryan Kalil on season-ending injured reserve with a foot injury.
The Charlotte Observer reports it's a Lisfranc injury to his left foot that will require surgery. He suffered the injury during Sunday's loss to the Seahawks.
A three-time Pro Bowl selection, Kalil had started all five games for Carolina this season.
The 6-foot-2, 295-pounder had started all 16 contests in each of the last three seasons for the Panthers.
A second-round pick by the Panthers in the 2007 draft out of USC, Kalil has started 68-of-71 games over his career.
