Police are investigating after a man was found stabbed in West Olympia and later died Friday night.

Police are investigating after a man was found stabbed in West Olympia and later died Friday night.

A passerby found the man who "appeared to be hurt" at 6:10 p.m. and called the police, a news release said. Emergency crews responded and discovered the man had been stabbed. The man later died.

The stabbing victim has not been identified. Police have no suspects at this time.

The area of Cooper Point Road Southwest between Evergreen Park Drive Southwest and Carriage Drive Southwest was closed off during the investigation, but Thurston County dispatchers said the area has since been reopened.

    Police responded to St. Joseph hospital at about 2:15 a.m. Saturday to investigate a report of a double stabbing. A 17-year-old boy had been stabbed in the chest, and an 18-year-old had been stabbed in the face. They were brought to the hospital by private vehicle.
