The Peninsula School District is soliciting letters from residents interested in filling an unexpired School Board term representing District 4. The vacancy occurred due to the resignation of Jill Uddenberg.

A map of District 4 boundaries is available at the district office or at www.psd40l. net. The applicant must be a registered voter and a current resident of the district.

The appointee would have to run for election in November 2015 to retain the seat.

The district will accept letters of interest through 4 p.m. Nov. 2.

The School Board will conduct interviews of qualified applicants and appoint a new member in public session.

Applicants should send a letter of interest to the Peninsula School District office, 14015 62nd Ave. NW, Gig Harbor, WA 98332. It should be addressed to the Board of Directors. Submit questions to Chuck Cuzzetto, acting superintendent, at cuzzettoc@psd401.net or 253-530-1002.
