Amtrak train hits pickup on JBLM land south of Tacoma, kills driver

An Amtrak Cascades train hit a pickup truck about 19 miles south of Tacoma on Joint Base Lewis-McChord land about 7 p.m. tonight, killing the driver, according to JBLM spokeswoman Brendalyn Carpenter.
